Women are intimately connected to nature, and our bodies are subjects to it’s laws and rhythms. My practice seeks to explore this connection, often against the romantic backdrop of Britain’s diverse flora and fauna, and drawing on the rich symbolism of Dutch Still Life painting. Each work is hand gilded in 23.5 carat gold leaf and painted in Indian ink.
